Where are you based?
Sun7Studios is based in Dallas, TX- we primarily serve clients in and around the DFW area, Houston, Austin, and the Rio Grande Valley. Our lead shooter, Ashley, frequents the East Coast and loves to book shoots in that area of the country as well!
What is your cancellation policy?
In the event of a cancellation, any deposit made will be forfeited.
How far should we book in advance?
It’s a good idea to book a few months in advance. But if you are on a short timeline, always check our availability!
Do you charge a travel fee?
If the shoot location is outside of the DFW metroplex, a government rate of 56 cents per mile will be added to the total.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, we have Professional Liability Insurance, General Liability Insurance, and Business Owner/Equipment Damage Insurance.
Does Sun7Studios travel outside of the Dallas – Forth Worth metro area?
Absolutely! We charge for mileage at the government rate of 56 cents per mile, which will be added to your total fee.

Can you tell me more about your vintage furniture collection?

How long does it normally take to receive portrait photos?
1-2 weeks depending on what portrait session package you choose.
How much is a Portrait session?
Portrait sessions are $250 per hour, including 35-40 images, an online gallery, downloadable high-res images, and a print release.
How much is a Head Shot session?
A 45 minute outdoor portrait session for head shots is $250, and includes 15-20 photos. Studio head shots are 30 minute sessions for $175 with 6-10 photos on a charcoal gray background.
Do you offer make-up, hair, styling?
Make-up and Styling add-ons begin at $125
Will you post my photographs online?
Yes, Sun7Studios does request that you sign a release for your photos so that we may share them on our website, blog, social media, and for marketing purposes.
Do you retain the copyright to my photos?
Yes, we ask that you do not alter your images in any way.
Do you give your clients a print release?
We cannot guarantee the quality of your photos if you print somewhere other than the online gallery we deliver. We recommend that you print through our online gallery for the best quality images. We do however give our clients a print release.
Do your prices include digital photograph files?
All photography packages include an online gallery with downloadable High Definition Digital Files.
Can I order photos from my online gallery?
Yes, you can order photos from your online gallery.
Do you sell the raw photo files?
We do not sell raw still images.
Can I just print my photos at Walgreens?
We do give you a print release for your images, but please understand that we can not guarantee the quality of your photos if you print elsewhere. We recommend that you print through our online gallery for the best quality images.
Do you offer canvas or enlarged framed prints to be used for display of an engagement photo or bridal portrait?
Yes, canvas prints are available for display at your venue. Upon request, samples are available to see. A 16×20 canvas is $80.00 and a 30×24 canvas is $130 (frame is not included)
What is the starting price for video production?
Our production packages begin at $6,000 for start to finish full production films beginning with a 2 – 2:30 second video.
Do you shoot feature length documentary videos?
We use a “documentary style” to shoot short films ranging from 4-6 minutes.
Do you ever shoot and deliver just raw footage and audio?
We make it our policy to not hand over raw footage/audio. We take our projects from the early stages of concept development and carry them all the way through to completion and final delivery.
Do you offer event coverage?
We offer highlight videos of events. We do not offer full event coverage.
Do you film training videos?
No, we do not produce training videos.
